Your data stays simple.
Toothbrush Time Reminder is built to work without an account. This policy explains what information the site uses and what stays on your device.
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Summary
- No sign-up, passwords, or user profiles.
- The brushing timer runs in your browser and does not require habit tracking.
- Optional habit history is stored only in your browser's local storage unless you delete it.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information we do not collect directly
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or health records to use the timer or read our guides. We do not operate a login system or cloud database for brushing sessions.
Optional habit tracking (on your device only)
If you turn on habit tracking on the Habits page, the site stores a small JSON record in your browser's localStorage under the key toothbrush-time-reminder:v1. Each saved session may include:
- A random session identifier
- The date and time you completed the session
- How long the session lasted (in seconds)
This data never leaves your device through our servers — we have no backend that receives it. You can turn tracking off or delete all stored habit data at any time from the Habits page. Clearing your browser data for this site will also remove it.
Analytics and advertising
This site does not currently load analytics or advertising scripts. It does not use cookies for analytics or advertising.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel may process standard server logs (such as IP address, request time, and requested URL) to deliver the site securely and reliably. See Vercel's Privacy Policy (Opens in a new tab) for details.
Children
The site is intended for a general audience, including families using the timer together. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or forms because we do not offer those features. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us using the information below and we will take appropriate steps.
Third-party links
Our guides link to external resources (such as the American Dental Association). Those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for how third parties handle information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
